The Tinley Park EMA organization has been in existence since the early 1950's. Today, Tinley Park EMA provides both emergency and non-emergency support to other Village Public Safety agencies. EMA also provides mutual aid support to other community and township-based Emergency Services units. Tinley Park EMA is a community-oriented organization assisting other groups with community and area events. The organization is made up of local citizens, like yourself. Each is of varying ages, occupations, skill levels and lifestyles. All EMA members are high-spirited volunteers, who are concerned in fulfilling their role in the community, dealing with any emergency or disaster situation that they are called upon to handle.

Tinley Park EMA honors and mourns the EMS, Police, and Fire professionals who were injured or lost their lives in the September 11th rescue efforts.
